    I don't know anything about this, and my technical military German is only so so, but I'll give a go and I think you can get the gist. Maybe some native speakers could help clarify.

    Born 1896, Died 1945. Student council at the Muster?school. Son of the teacher/school master? Julius Z. student council since 1925 at the mmusterschool.


    Während des Zweiten Weltkrieges in der Auslandsbriefprüfstelle (ABP) der Deutschen Wehrmacht, die im Gesellschaftshaus des Frankfurter Zoologischen Gartens untergebracht war, stationiert. Dort v.a. zuständig für die Überprüfung der Korrespondenz der Kriegsgefangenen

    During the second world war stationed in the "Foreign letter checkpoint" (ABP) (censoring foreign mail) of the German armed forces, located in the Frankfurt zoo. There he was responsible for censoring the correspondence of prisoners of war.

      Even though I can't find solid evidence about this event, I believe this tinnie might very well befrom the ABP. Any other thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
