DJ membership buttonhole badge for review

    Hey Guys,
I thought I would post this one to get your opinions. I don't like it for several reasons including; the file marks, the pebbling on the red translucent enamel, the "DJ", the "72" maker mark on other NSDAP membership pins has a more decorative (serif) font and the button attachment is a different shape.
I do tend to make mistakes but thought I would post to confirm.
Thanks again for all your help!
    Nathan

i have never seen a repro badge with a button hole arrangement.

What could be wrong with this DJ badge?

I'm sceptical. It's minty (has all his silver finish) which is ultra rare for a DJ.
99 % of them shows at least a partly worn of finish. And also the sanding lines...

Hi Nathan, as said yesterday on the PB forum, 100% fake, and a very poor fake as well. I said from the 80`s but am more inclined to say early mid-1990`s now. There are a few better fakes that show the RZM and 72, here is an earlier DJ badge fake, die-struck in messing and silver washed, but still 100% fake i would think, judging on the production method as well as material, that this one is from the early 1970`s.

Yours is cast, the attachment is Eastern European (English ones are much better) and the base metal is not messing. If you were able to see the stanzkante of yours, you`d have a laughing fit. I have a few originals, as well as a few fakes of these, so when i have time, i will certainly make a stanzkante video and send you the link.
