Hi Christian,

A very interesting pin. I'm afraid that I've never seen anything like it before. The pin & it's attachment look correct for the period, & the general appearance looks OK. I can't see any maker mark, is there one?

Also, what size is it please?

The only other thing I can suggest is to do some research to see if there was a sports event at that time & place......
