    Steve,

The thing to look for on these badges is the crispness of the lettering WIR WOLLEN FREI WERDEN as well as the lines behind these words.

From the photos I can't see the vertical lines between the two L's in WOLLEN. They might be there so check this out when you receive the badge.

      Hi Steve,

A high res close up shot will be useful.
and another good resource here showing the lines within the characters of some text that Stan mentions:

I have a similar badge but on a military styled button hole setup.

Thanks for the replies guy's, surprised how few examples of the non marker marked badges there are out there.
Really can not make my mind up about this badge.

        Regards
        Steve

Any comments greatfully received even if to say fake.
Nobody got an unmarked version remotely similar.

                Regards
                Steve

                  Steve,

Difficult to say for sure without examining the badge under high magnification and then comparing it to a known original.

Detlev says that the first badges were hollow and the second issues solid with RZM marks.

                  Regards,

                  Stan
