Definitely nothing wrong with the '38, a very nice badge. May we have detailed shots like this for the '39 please?

        Cheers

Coincidentally I've been considering one of these badges. Bill at RupturedDuck has one but it's chipped and I noticed these from emedals.ca. Can you good people give me your thoughts? I'm kind of wary as some of the 'fakes' look mighty good. Thank you in advance.

                    Tony,

I can't see anything wrong with these 2 badges.

                    Ralph,

                    Another fine example.....

                    Cheers
                    Don

They look fine to me. Funny how that mm from A.G. Tham is not straight....same is shown in Detlev's book.

Would there be a preference for either maker (BREHMER & THAM) in terms of desireability due to scarcity, higher quality, collectability, etc.?

                          Tony,

Brehmer are my personal favourite...... Although you won't find a Brehmer '39 Kriessieger as they didn't make them that year. However, to my knowledge, only Brehmer mde the Reichssieger for both '38 & '39.

                          Cheers
                          Don

Yep Don is right there were no 1939 Kreissiegers by Brehmer, these were all made by subcontractors like Aurich, Tham and Wagner.

                            I recently found a 1939 Brehmer fake/fanstasy

                            Obverse

                            Reverse

This one is axactly the same as the fake Reichssieger badges, same construction and same flaws.
                            Hope it helps

This looks very convincing. Putting the mm aside, can you highlight the bad points?
