Members favourite WHW items?

Very nice items shown here! I like a lot of the WHW items, but what really turned me on to WHW several years ago was these glass "famous buildings" tokens from the 19-20 September 1942 national collection.

Years ago I was trying to collect every design in every possible color/type of glass, but I gave up on that long ago!

There are still a few guys that hot my site that collect them that way...I bailed on it myself years ago as well!

I love the uranium glass pieces too...especially the milk glass ones.

I agree on the milk glass; the only one of those I have gotten recently is this nice Berg Isel Denkmal one.

Thanks for showing some exceptional items, RonR's ribbon display is outstanding; congratulations for now being described as a "Distinguished Contributor" - you certainly deserve the title.
Also, thanks to Albrecht for the links, yes, the items I have (all twelve) are from the Kultur Parade, and I am not sure of some of the figures shown in the links!
CM Alexander's "Potato Masher" for the "Weapons" series is excellent also, never seen this presentation before, must be a rare item.
And Greg, on my first visit to Germany ten years ago I was struck by the spectrum of WHW items, glass, leather, paper various metals on many themes.
Was offered many of the "Famous Buildings" set (which I particularly liked) at the rate of two fro one Euro. Unfortunately, I had not at that time focussed my interests and declined the offer.
The seller, who had a shop in the back streets of Minden had many items which now sell for £60 to £70 each for one Euro.
He did not know what he had, and at the time nor did I!
Please keep the items coming gentlemen, I am enjoying seeing your treasures.

These are some great posts, thanks to all. The photos are much appreciated. Especially interesting to see the original presentation canisters, boards, and boxes. Not easy to find an entire set in this state.

I like anything to do with aircraft, so I started picking these plastic planes when I found them. Not sure they are strictly WHW or not. I'm missing two: the 4-engine plane and the zeppelin

Thanks for posting this interesting display. I wasn't familiar with this particular zodiac series. Made from plastic? Do you know when they were produced?

WHW produced a number of zodiac themed series. There is also the Tierkreiszeichen series featuring the 12 glyphs of the zodiac and an inset stone for each month, produced in 1937. And another later series made from ceramic, both painted and natural clay, showing the 12 Zeichen, produced in 1942, according to Verlag Tieste.
