    Neat Sachsentag Plakette

    Hi

    Never really seen one.

Picked it up, its about the size of a German Cross in Gold.

Attachment holes for mounting onto a surface.

    Any others out there?

    Best Wishes

That is a really attractive piece, Dion. I have not seen another. Congratulations!

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

One of the pieces that those festival plaques were mounted on were DE standards of units that took part in the festivities. I believe Bob has such a rarity in his collection from 1929 Reichspartaitag.
Typical difference between those and a regular non portable plaques as handed out to attendees was some of those to be mounted were- like this one- hollow.
My guess is, this one would be rather uncommon piece to find.
        Congrats bud!

        cheers

        Matt

        P.S
Did you get that HJ in yet?

              Wonderful piece Ron.
I have always wondered how those were awarded- loose? boxed? packeted/sleeved?
I think I have seen a solid one boxed but that does not explain how those were presented.

              cheers
