      Mike,
I have the same pin (I know the pic isn't necessary, but felt like playing with my new camera ).
There is a similar one in Littlejohn's "The Hitler Youth", shown in the tinnie section, but it also has "Norderney 1934" on the top wing.
I think they are very well made tinnies. I don't have the Angolia books on the HJ, maybe there is some more info there.
      Regards,
      Fred

Those are nice pins guys, never seen that type before.

Mike that's a nice Junker Para badge you have on your site for sale, very nice. Wish I had some money.

I'm only familiar with it from Hüsken (no 9280y), never seen one in hand...... Nice looking badge.

            Cheers

              Nice one, Mike!

I had a look in Angolia, and the pin is described as 'participant's pin'. Presumably for participation in a flying event.

              All the best,
              Toby.

Hi Mike, I just joined the group. This tinnie is listed in Tieste's book , his number HJ 00-04. ,see Vol. # 1, page 320. He shows a value of 60 euroes. Multiply by approximately 1.3 to get the value in dollars. This gives you a rough idea of the value of the tinnie. Are you familar with the Tiesties books ? Hope this adds to your information. Brooks

                    Here is mine.
Unfortunatly i dont have a reverse pic at hand because i'm not on my own computer, (currently no internet )but if i remember correct the pin attachment device is quite different than the ones shown.
I also saw one of these on Weitze for €175
