The most important socio-political project of the Palatine Gauleiter Josef Bürckel initiated in the summer of 1933.
The People's Socialist Self Help committed any Palatinate to donate a monthly fixed sum of money for government action on the labor market, housing construction, and for the needy.
Due to the fierce resistance from Munich and Berlin, Burckel abandoned his project in the Summer of 1934.
Stickpin is marked "FMK" on the reverse which appears to have been scratched in an effort to remove a sticker of some sort......
