    History of Welllner Silverware

Does anybody have a page on the history of Wellner silverware?
What part of Germany was this manufacturer based in?

    Thanks
    Mike Wellner

Wish I had the appropriate resources so I could establish a connection, no time to do that right now.
There is another Wellner by the name of Horst Wellner who scouted out Scrapa Flow for Gunter Prien who sank the Royal Oak.

I believe there is a good chance of a family connection because "Wellner" isnt a very common last name, especially here in the US.
My Wellner ancestors orginate from the Prov. of Polsen.

BTW, I also carry the Messerschmitt surname in my family history, it was my great grandmother that was a Messershmitt, would like to look further later on if there is a connection to Willy Messerschmitt.

By the way what was the fate of the Wellner Silverware company after WW2?
