    1936 Olympics pin

Have tried a search, but no conclusive results.

I want to buy one of the white enamel badges for the 1936 Olympics. They seem to vary in price quite dramatically from place to place. I have seen several different makers on the backs and a couple of subtle differences to the pins backs of them too. I have found two types which seem to come up most often, examples of these are posted below. Could someone help me please - Do either of these scream fake or are they ok, do you think?

    1 front

    1 back

    2 Front

    2 Back

If it helps any, here is mine that was glued on a board by a vet, along with other pins and medals he picked up, the vet nailed some to the board and broke pins off on some and stuck them on, but who knew back then?
Clean the glue off, would display nice?

Thanks Gary. I think your one matches most closely to my badge number 1 below. The very top is slightly different on badge 2, and the lettering ever so slightly different too, the L in particular looks too thin on badge 2 but the other one matches yours exactly. Shame about the loss of the pin to your one.

So far I think I am erring towards badge 1 being original and number 2 possibly being a repro or if period, made by a different manufacturer.

Anyone have any other thoughts to help wrap this up?

Your Welcome Elanski, I see a maker below the columns in the back, but it is filled with glue, maybe I can remove it gently?
Yes, shame the pin is missing, see what I can do.
          Regards,
          Gary
