I honestly can't remember exactly where or when I found this little guy, but it was most likely in a much larger lot of smalls...(no pun intended). I don't believe it's for any "official" party organization, but rather, a private purchase "patriotic" type of item. There are NO markings of any kind, and it appears to be made of nickel silver or is perhaps plated...don't recall putting a magnet to it. It's rather diminutive in size, measuring less than 2 inches long, and depicts a very simple, canted swastika. Anyone else come across one like it before? A couple of quick pix below...

Swastika tie clip....

Hi Milton,
A nice piece...I wonder if it isn't a money clip or some other device like a woman's hair clip, instead of a tie clip? It would seem to be ungainly as a tie clip, with the clip end on the obverse raising up as it does -- it would appear to catch on anything that passed by it!
Cheers,
Br. James

Thanks for your thoughts...could be? A money clip was also something that crossed my mind, however the rather diminutive size of the clip dissuaded me, as the bills of the period I believe were a bit larger, and I also don't know how it'd necessarily function as a hair clip, but then again, who knows? A tie clip made / makes the most sense to me. Thanks for commenting.
