    Flea Market Finds

    James, Don Et. all.
I just acquired these 3 pins today from an aged individual with a distinct European accent. There are 3 of them in all. Please take a look and tell me what you think if you can. Thank you and Merry Christmas. Robert

And here is the last one. It looks like a castle or tower of some sort but with extremely similar enamelling as the previous 2. My gut tells me they belong to this guy who sold them to me. The rerst of his table was 50's Americana but he was a European and a one-timer not the every week people I see at the market. Are these pins all related in some way?? Just trying to do some deductive reasoning. Thanks alot. Robert

        Fred,
The first stickpin is for a WW1 Veterans Assoc. The D.O.B. is Deutscher Offizier Bund =German officer federation. The second one is for the reunification of the Saar with Germany. The third one is also a Veterans Assoc. stickpin, the tower is the Kyffhauser War Memorial. Good find not that common.

Unfortunately my scanner takes a horrible reverse pic. It focuses on the pin and not what is behind it. This one is marked Aweswunze Berlin I think. Robert See what I mean.
