    Lapel badges

I've found that the SS badge is a well-known fake but would appreciate opinions about the other two please. Apologies for the average photos provided by a mate.

    Many thanks, Mike.

      Patrick,

      Many thanks for your comment.

Could you please just clarify that you believe that the two "Freundschaft" badges are fake? Can you also tell me the bad points that make them fakes as I need to inform a friend about them.

      Kind regards, Mike.

I allow myself, seeing as nobody else will tell you. (or they will jump around between pin and enamel and other nonsensical attributes)

There was no such organization. The correct name, for the badges of the Ring zur Förderung Deutsch-Englischer Freundschaft (1935-1939) is/are, as below.

The version your friend has, is a fantasy. The people who have shown your friends horrible badge in-print as genuine, are part of a scam. They will never quote the incorrect grammar on the badge, (saying BRITISCH) but instead quote the correct German grammar in their descriptions -BRITISCHE.

Immaterial of grammar problems, the name was not Britsche or Britisch, but as below - ENGLISCHE - as historically documented. (Historically, does not mean a post war author - regardless of nationality)

The fakers could not even get the Union Jack right...

SS Zivilabzeichen have nothing to do with the RZM. They could not be "purchased" Your friends SS badge is an over-sized fantasy version of the much smaller ss-zivilabzeichen stickpin.
