Hello, yes I have to admit I was very fortunate to come across such a fine example. Yes in hand the patina is impressive, it appears that the Badge is untouched and has never ever been cleaned.

Hello Erich, yes my silver version is not quite so impressive and is worse for wear than the Bronze version.
I would appreciate it is any other Member has period photographs of the Badge in wear that they perhaps could post.

Hello Military, although I acquired the Badge some considerable time ago I can still recall where I purchased the Badge it was via a Miltaria Dealer in Austria................ These days I seldom vist Militaria fairs in England.
