Please help me identify this tinnie and other item.

I picked these up yesterday. I got the tinnie because I had never seen it before. What is it, and is it rare or what might the value be? I paid $15 for it. The second item I am not sure what it is. My guess is that it was taken off of a German truck or weapon of some sort as a souvenir. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Top one is, I believe, a firm's commemorative badge, given to employees, for working on the west wall fortifications.

That was my guess, but I was not sure, and I cannot find another example like it, is it rare or more valuable than the common west wall tinnie?

This is an official description of your tinnie:

Circular plastic badge with a dark grey matt finish on the face. On the centre of the face is a design depicting a partial map of Germany, featuring the place names KÖLN KOBLENZ RHEIN and MAINZ. There is a shield bearing a swastika superimposed over the map. The badge has a circular border inscription reading FÜR TREUE DIENSTE AN DER WESTBEFESTIGUNG. A retaining pin is attached to the reverse and there is an inscription GENERALUNTERNEHMUNG PETER BAUWENS KÖLN.
          .

          Embossed

KÖLN KOBLENZ RHEIN MAINZ FÜR TREUE DIENSTE AN DER WESTBEFESTIGUNG GENERALUNTERNEHMUNG PETER BAUWENS KÖLN

Peter Bauwens is a still working construction firm:

The term that I have seen used for these various private company items are 'Limes Medals'. There are quite a few out there. I have had them made into medallions, medals and tagungsabzeichen (like yours).

As for value...I sold a few like this recently for about $35.00-$40.00 each.

A reply to my PM about buying this tinnie after you put it on the e-stand would have be polite, even if it was, sorry, no.

The 2nd item you show us should belog to a motor or an other engine.

The words of the inscripion I can read are:

                      "Änderungen:

                      Stirngehäuse

                      Abzweigetrieb(e)

                      ...

                      Ölfilter

                      ...kappe.

                      Axiallagerung"

May be there are other members in this forum who can identify these motor parts and their function.
