I personally can't comment as I have no experiance of these yet. But I found a description on another forum of what to look for on a good RZM one.

The swastika should be crisp and clear with all of its legs visible. On the fakes, the lower left leg is often shorter than the other legs.. The leaves in the wreath should be individually discernable and they should almost curve up at the ends, They are not flat. There should be a tiny leaf clearly visible on the upper part of the wreath under the eagle's left wing. On the fakes it is usualy unclear if there at all. Unfortunately RZM marks are often found on the fakes.
        Hope this helps
        Cheers
        Don

If one compares the two badges one can see the diferences in clarity. The description that Don has posted is a very clear acount of what to look for.

            Thanks Adrian, Don!

As against a Adrian's badge on my badge both leaves under wings of an eagle are precisely visible (maybe because my badge's foto is better ). On both badges a leaves almost curve up at the ends and thay are not flat.

Both badges is fine for me

            Thanks to all for help!

              Treffen badge

There are some additional attributes that originals from this maker exhibit, and both badges pictured show them. Very nice originals!

Erich, will you tell us these attributes on a secret maybe?

Well, I'd rather that everyone interested handle as many of these Treffen badges and repro Treffen badges as possible, and you will discover the differences as well!
