    Sa Tinnie Stick-pin or Fantasy

    My Friends,
To me this looks like a replica of an SA dagger. It even has the wooden inlay. But it has a knurled pin on the reverse and is marked LO23/RR/E.S. Not sure on the markings as the pin blocks it pretty well. i haven't seen one of these posted so I just don't know. Please take a look and thanks alot. Also, Mr. Scown, will send you a pm later this evening. Robert

Here is the reverse. Sorry my 49 dollar canon focuses only on the closest object. Thanks Robert

Hi Robert, I have seen them before back in the late 1970's. I always tended to think of them as fantasy items to be honest. But I have no proof and could be wrong.

        Cheers, Ade.

Delta International out of Lafayette California used to sell these and a black version in the 1970s. I may be able to dig out an old catalogue if I can find it, but I believe they sold for around $4.00 or $5.00. I don't know of any that existed before the 70s.

Thanks for the help. Into the junk heap it goes. Robert
