Fellow Political Forum enthusiasts (including tinnies, of course) -

Seba created this forum due to popular demand several years ago; and due to all of you, it has done well and supported itself with some really outstanding and knowledgeable members. Each of you have contributed so much, it is impressive.

Seba, Bless him, has been very patient with me, as I promised to document most of the political organizations within the Reich (a huge task in itself) with the title, short description, and then start writing individual research papers on awards presented within that particular organization.

I have been travelling way too much over the last 2 years (done now, thank God) and have much of the outline of the associated political organizations of the Third Reich completed. I have also already published a few awards articles which would fall into one or more of the organizations in this category.

I have already written a lenghty paper on the NSDAP; but my question to each of you;
Would anyone want to research any of these organizations under the political arm; a page or few paragraphs (whatever - we can edit later) to help facilitate this task I volunteered for ? I would be happy to coordinate and provide a listing of what I have already done and what is left to be done - just to define the beginning, role, and function of certain organizations. I'm talking about groups like the BDM, DAF, RAD, HJ, KdF, NSBO, NSF, NSRK, NSAK, NSFK, NSKK, etc.- to mention just a few....

Drop me a PM if you are interested and we can get the stone which has gathered moss "rolling again', together.

Volunteers....

I have received 2 volunteers so far -this is great !! SA, Npea, and RAD have been picked-up by members to prepare a brief overview of the function and beginning of these organizations. Once we get going on those, we will compile a list of awards specific to that organization; then research and write a short technical work on each piece (I have examples of what I have written). I've got several on my platter, but would like to have some more of our knowledgeable and/or good researchers, writers join in... lots of fun and we contribute more to this fantastic web site designed for us. Thanks!!

My research of the NPEA is documented in my first work on this subject: "NPEA Daggers and Associated Knives". I am currently working on the second edition and have much additional information and am always looking for more. I would be willing to help in this area and will answer any questions that I can concerning the schools and their history.

Update on Status of volunteers.......

So far we have RAD, SA, NSDAP, HJ, Npea and I have information on many of the other organizations. However, I am excited about this group effort; anyone interested in preparing a write-up for:
NSBO, BDM, KdF, SS, NSFK, NSRK, NSF, NSAK, NSKK, NS-RKB, Reichskulturkammer, or any other organization not listed here; or any additional info on organizations already covered would be wellcomed.
