Misc. stickpins most unkown to me.

I don't really know what many of these are, so I don't know where to post them. I got them all in Germany when I was stationed there, or from Vets who brought them back.

I would like to ID them and learn something about them....like approximate value and etc..

    Thanks,
    Ron

The half black/ white diagonal pin with the crown

The half black/ white diagonal pin with the crown has been on Ebay, also without explanation. My first thought was how it resembled a badge typically seen on some liquor bottles. Just don’t know which. Most the others also look rather new-ish to be WW2 period.

They came into my possession during one of two periods, either prior to 1973 from vets of WW2 (because I have never got one at a show.....just off vets) and during the period between 1973 to 1976 when I was stationed at Bad Kreuznach, W. Germany, mostly either from "junk boxes" at the fleamarkets I went to each week or scattered in with tinnies when I found bunches of them. I never acquired another stickpin after I got home in 1976.

            WDK means "Waffentag der Kavallerie"

You find the same symbol here:

Thanks Patrick and Gerdan. I know they are not any newer than 1976, but I doubt that I got them all in the last year I was in the army in Germany. I suspect that some of them were at least from the years of the 3rd Reich, or maybe even earlier. Do you know what people the ones, other the the WHW or Saar pin are?

                Thanks,
                Ron
