    help on enamel badges

    Hi
these badges are part of a large collection of items I recently inherited. I have been posting other items on the various forums with the purpose of firstly, indentifying the items and secondly, to try to sort the original from the copies. I am a collector of British Militaria and am completely at a loss with these items.
I appreciate your patience with me as no doubt some of the items I am listing are items you see day in day out and of little value. However, I really do appreciate all your help with the ID.
    Regards
    Andy

I will list them one at a time over a period to avoid swamping the forum.

Andy, IMO this pin should not have a RZM marking but instead a maker's mark. Bring on the rest and I will attempt to help. Robert

I agree, should not be RZM'd & the pin keeper is the wrong shape.

The SS badge with the skull in the top picture is a fantasy item..... Never existed pre 45. I also don't like the other SS pin, I believe this is also a fake based on the membership pin.

          Cheers
          Don

The reverse clinches it I'm afraid. SS pins were definitely never RZM marked.

Sorry, looking bad so far. Keep them coming though, we may find some good ones yet.

                Cheers

All of the pins-badges pictured in the first photo are reproductions to question the HJ and the lower right NSDAP but more than likely, gulity of the same and of the same ilk due to association.

                      Regards,

                      John

Good to see you here John.........

Andy, If John believes they are all bad from just looking at the top picture, you can probably lay money on him being correct. He has way more experiance than I.

May be worth putting up the two he mentions, the HJ & lower right NSDAP just in case........

                        Cheers

and the rear of the badge

Just a note, these are part of an inherited collection. From other postings on different items, what strikes me as strange is that the collection seems to be formed from a mixture of good and copy items. Most of the medals posted are confirmed original as are most of the cloth patches. I am a collector of British Military items and would never knowingly have such a mixture. In fact, I have a great dislike of fake items made to cheat and confine them to the rubbish.
You guys are really helpfull and it is very much appreciated.
