The first one is a non portable award commemorating an event as noted on the rim. Originally awarded in dark maroon case. That year Treffen also produced a similar, portable, ceramic pinback.
IMO, one of the best designs of the period's non portable awards, at least when it comes to the rendition of the eagle. Sharp looking bird.
Not sure about the second one other than it appears to be a shooting award of sorts.
I don't know what the cross is either, but FYI here are the items Matt mentioned in connection with the Gautreffen for Gau bayesrische Ostmark in 1936. The building in the design is the Richard Wagner opera house in Bayreuth; Bayreuth was the seat of Gau bayerische Ostmark.
