    Blood Order on estand

Did someone just walk away with a bargain? I thought the number on this BO was in the range of the first pattern so, if real, the 3k Euro price was an absolute steal for this one.

The BO is a second pattern with numbers starting at about number 1501. The pics were bad and there were some things that I had my doubts on that could be cleared up with shaper images.
Hopefully the new owner will post clearer pics that show all the details that we like to see on an original.

Its one we need better photos on. I see things I'm happy about and things I would like cleared up, lighting of the photographs can make all the difference. I think its prob ok ,poss ground dug?
Yes the price, if real, is very cheap indeed.

Bargain of the month if good.
There was another 2nd pattern sold on e-stand this year as well.

I think I have seen this one before and I think it is ground dug.
If so, and I will confirm as such shortly, the e-stand listing should have reflected as such.

So it was ground dug and ring repaired.

Thanks Jon and that would explain the softness of certain details which concerned me regarding this medal.

Thanks for all the information on this. I guess I should have researched a bit first to determine the break of numbers between first and second pattern. Still a good buy, even at the higher price.

Richard, it is ok, but it was ground dug and shows the damage of that so price is about right, maybe a bit high.

And, of course, the search for a ribbon is almost like looking for the Holy Grail.

Found the image I was looking for, when the medal had its broken suspension ring...

A much better pic where the traits of an original stand out.
