    SA Treffen in NS

Mil's recent thread about SA Treffen badges has awoken my interest in them and I have just splashed out €105 on this little beauty in NS.

Everything looks tip top to me except for the "Ges. Gesch" mark which is stamped backwards.

Otherwise IMO a very nice badge at a bargain price or is there something I should know?

    Comments welcome.

    Thanks.

    Hi Stan,

A very nice piece, IMO, which comes from the mid-1930s.

    Cheers,

backwards? is this the norm for this piece? could you show it? Also, is there a RZM number on it?

Here it is. There is no RZM number but that isn't unusual- just look at the
          2nd-Pattern Coburg Badge.

This is my SA Treffen badge. As can be seen it is unmarked.

                  Opinions please.

Hi Stan, its an unusual piece to see two RZM logos and the GES GESCH mark stamped in reverse.

You still need the silver piece to complete the collection!

Both badges are very nice and original. Hmmm, the SA Treffen badge might be the next hot gotta have political badge? IMO, the Treffen badge is both under appreciated and undervalued considering that it was an official honor badge of the party. At one time the 29 RPT badge could be had for 100.00 and now it's 350-450 on dealer sites.

All these years, the one missing from my collection was a nice NS badge and I was extremely happy when the RZM 63 badge found it's way to me a few weeks ago.

Indeed very true i guess Erich. The 1929 badge has appreciated considerably and the next will be this 1931 SA Treffen.
