A Review: SA Treffen Braunschweig 1931 Badge

    Hi all,

I'm putting together a thread showing the variants of the SA Treffen Braunschweig 1931 Badge. This badge was elevated to a 'traditions' award after 1933 and it was allowed to be worn by those who had taken part in the rally. Of these, the Type 1 is the most rare and something that all serious political collectors must have. I would say that hopefully I have covered all variants, except the M1/35 solid type.

    (1) Type 1 of the SA Treffen Braunschweig 1931 Badge. Thinly-pressed and with a fragile pin, only the recessed-font type as shown is recognised as the true piece as there are photos of these being worn.
