I posted a thread as well, just asked the mod to remove it. Sorry bout that.

Also please post your stick pin as well.

DJ Badge: Is it me or am I just wrong with the DJ Badge? I just don't see transitional badges like this with the GS Gesch, RZM & the makers 72. It throws up some flags to me.

Stick Pin (when you post it): This just looks all wrong to me. Where is the ribbing on the stick pin, and the party disc I have never seen anything like this. Plus isn't there usually a pin plate that you would find in authentic party stick pin badges?

here is the e-stand thread http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=749507

Padalec, thank you for posting this thread.

Would this pin be of the transitional variety similar to party pins marked in the same way? Other more knowledgable (sp?) viewers can chime in. That is my referencebookless opinion. Regards Robert

I think it's fine. But only for this specific maker Fritz Zimmermann. I saw the same reverse combination on a Deutsche Arbeiter Jugend badge. Probably it is transitional.

Wim I have always wondered why, bearing in mind that both HJ and DJ were under RZM auspices, there are very few RZM marked DJ membership badges as opposed to HJ membership badges. Any ideas on the disparity? Have a good weekend. Robert

            Hi Robert,

If I'm right the DJ abzeichen disapeared with the introduction of the HJ diamond insigne. However even than there exist pictures of DJ boys who wearing both badges at the same time. After the introduction of the HJ diamond , the early DJ badge became a sign of a pre-1933 veteran.
