Hi Will,

Try Googling "Deutsche Jägerschaft" or "German Hunting Society" and you'll find some informative background on your badge, as RonR has suggested. One of the many "hats" worn by Hermann Göring was as Reichs Master of the Hunt; he was interested in preserving natural areas in the wild for such purposes -- if he were alive today, and not in prison, he might well be a member of the Sierra Club!

Can we see the back? does it have a double pin plate one long one
round. If so i think it could be fake, i was caught with one years ago
well made and quite heavy fooled me
