By 'solid gold' I meant a pin made entirely out of gold rather than merely having being gold plated. Are you saying your 333 (8 kt.) gold pin is not made out of gold as marked?

      cheers

      Matt

      P.S.
Never had a good fortune of finding a cased example myself but yours is a beaut!

        Hey Mathew,
Thanks for the education! I'm no expert in this by any stretch of the means. I priced it by what I found earlier on the Estand when I first listed it. Another member had one listed for 100 Euro. So since I'm pretty lost on price, what would be considered a fair price for this pin?

          Matt,

          You are absolutely correct.

The pin is marked 333, the same as yours, and is made out of gold as you correctly state.

I misspoke (new way of saying I made a mistake) , and apologize for causing confusion.

          Have edited the sequence.

          Please forgive...

          Best regards,
          RonR

            Hey,

If you google 'arbeits dank' and search by images you will find many for sale from different sources. I glanced at few starting at 25 Euros.
Nothing wrong with asking what you think it's worth even if it is sky high according to some when you have a proper description. I have not looked at the other one on estand you mention but I venture a guess it sits unsold at that price.

            cheers

            Matt

According to this site, my price wasn't too sky high. Granted, it was higher than it should have been

I will adjust my price once the 3 days bump period has gone away to reflect a better price. As for the one I saw on the estand, I haven't checked in a while to see if it is still up for sale, or if it sold, or the seller asked for it to be deleted.

But none the less, this is why I post it here to be discussed. I learn something new everyday and I appreciate everyone's input on this pin

Not sure how something that was produced hundreds of thousands of times could be classified as 'rare' or perceived as 'Investment grade A' after a steady 70 odd year climb all the way to the top of a 50 dollar bill but sure, whatever they say.

Actually, knowing what their monthly/yearly AD dues were we could probably figure out what it cost them to get those pins back then- not that they got any choice in the matter, apparently the dues were also mandatory for NSAD/RAD personnel as was their AD membership. Sort of nazi worker's compensation board you could say...

                  cheers

They also seem to buy, so mail them what they themselves give for it

Like I said, I'm no expert and was just going off of what my research showed me. I appreciate all the help. DMV, I should see what they offer just to see how much it is lol.
