numbers 3 & 4 on Golden Party badges

Anyone know why 30mm Deschler's have certain times a flat top on the 3 and a closed 4?
Is there a specific time frame when this one done that way?

Maybe the difference between the stamped and roto engraved numbers?

Correct that is my question if that was done only in a specifc time frage. Do those have a lower value?

Pretty sure we cannot put a time frame on any of the production details yet. Maybe we never will.
