    they have arrived!..

hello fellow members. As promised, here are some better photos of the tinnies that I listed on here a couple of weeks ago.
I think that they seem to be all good now that I have seen them in the flesh so to speak, but if you see one that isn't then please would you be so kind to let me know.

    kind regards,
    Belinda... x

Thanks for posting these Belinda. The badge in the last posts which caused all the interest in your previous thread is an interesting combination of veterans and SA tinnes. It states "the spirit of infantry regiment 32 lives on in SA Standarte 32". No date on it so it is hard to pin a definitive year to it unless someone has a date of creation of the SA Standarte 32. There are some nice tinnies in the batch, including a few I am missing in my collection. Nice catch!

                            Hi Belinda,

I think all are good and very collectable

The "Der Geist des Infanterie Regiment 32" is really lovely. I thought (and kind of expected) it to be a very late and rare Stahlhelmbund badge from the transitional period into the SA, but now that we see a close up photo it obviously isn't. It is however a really great looking tinnie with one of the better designs i've seen in a while and i absolutely love it! Great catch. Congrats on finding and owning this group.

                            best regards,
                            Gaston

ps: while not a SHB badge, the helmet still remembers of the SHB helmet badges and while i don't know the history of this SA group it might be possible it's a group that was started after the SHB group in the same area stopped to exist. It would be interesting to find out if this was true or not and if there were possible ties of the IR32 to the SHB.
