    Party Badge RZM Marked Only

    Hi Guys,


    What is your opinions on this Party badge, this one has the opaque red enamel & is RZM marked but no number ?, genuine badge or repro ?

        I just saw the reverse.. Sorry. A few things jump out. The lack of a number of course, but the lettering is a mess too. I'd say a bad one. Others might chime in...

            Frontal lettering looks very fat. I woudn't take the risk. There are more than enough others to collect.

            Maybe Jo will have a look and than can you be sure...

              Post it on james nobles party pin thread here, and he will likely weigh in , and you can compare it to others with opaque enamel backrounds.

                  I see a faint letter 'M' above the pin plate .. Maybe just a badly corroded original?

                      A poor condition opaque enamel badge by Mathias Oechsler & Sohn, M1/14, it is then -- obverse and reverse matches up nicely

                        Here is a few more pix, there are not great but the best my camera can handle at the moment & today is dull, rear of the badge looks very porous imo.

                            Clearly an opaque m1/14 with a very worn/corroded reverse, you can just barely make out some of the M and the number itself. Below are photos of the same variant in somewhat similar condition (germanwarbooty.com)
