Help identifying / dating Kriegsmarine tinnie

I posted this probably wrongly in the Kriegsmarine section, but it's am tinnie nonetheless.

Two piece construction that seems to reflect the military machine overall, but not necessarily the Kriegsmarine. Did other branches get other tabs to insert? It's all I can come up with. Other than that, I'm at a loss as to what this is or when it dates to. This was gotten with a bunch of WHW pins, and is marked Ges Gesch on the back.

Any info appreciated.

It's not WHW, but a "Wehrfähig" tinnie; like ready for service.
There are indeed several designs, for the different branches.
It's pre 45

Nice, thank you. I knew it wasn't WHW, just that I got it along with a bunch of WHW stuff. I was under the impression that it might have been for an "Armed Forces Day" or something.

So this was gotten when you joined the military? As if to say "I'm going" or "I've joined"?

I never said it was, nor did I think it was as I'm very familiar with the WHW. Only that it came in purchase with a ton of WHW stuff.
