    Opinions please!

I was wondering would care to give their opinion on these two badges on E-bay. I can not post pictures so I will have to give you the item numbers. They are as follows: 2128096087 & 2128096301. I have only got a small collection so thought these might be a good addition. They appear initially to me to be okay, but was hoping to get feedback from other members.

    HJ tinnie

    Hello,

I looked at the first pin and it looks 100% ok,i have the same one, this is a pretty common tinnie,I like it because its made of a heavier metal than most tinnies-if you can get a good price on this then go for it-I wouldnt pay to much for this because im sure you will come across this one again.

They are both good, and a good price also IMO. Good luck, hope you get them.

Thanks for your help, I got outbid, the price is now too high.I will probably wait and buy them from Helmut Wietze or someone. I prefer the heavier tinnies they feel slightly more substantial to handle. I have recently purchased a 'Seefahrt Ist Not' tinnie and it feels so light almost like plastic, I know many tinnies were made of such materials but I prefer the heavier types.

          Tinnies

Sorry that you got out-bid - happens on eBay, I know from experience.

The heavy, metallic tinnies are nice and have that mass which makes you feel good, but remember that some of the rarer and most colectible tinnies are not made of metal !!

Happy collecting - if there is a particular tinnie that you are looking for, let me know - I may be able to locate an example for you.

          Best Regards-

          Kevin
