    Unknown Pin Help

    Hello to all,

This pin belongs to a friend of mine. In my opinion it is a fake/fantasy item, but I told him I would post it to get other opinions. Has anyone ever seen one of these before? The marking on the reverse appears to be 'JFS'.

Thank you for any and all opinions,
    Tom

Tom, it is not fake; it's a rare Nazi German Christian Movement Badge, & is in Husken's Catalog, page 76, item 5110. I had one from a veteran in 2003, mine was identical but not marked. I don't know where those JFS markings came from or why they are on that badge.

There is an extensive thread about these small badges in the forum. Can't remember where, but these badges are originals.

Thank you very much for the responses, Silesien and Gary. I really appreciate the information.

I found some additional information in the following link as well as an image of a similar (although not identical) pin.

        Thanks again & best regards,
        Tom

Looks like both of these examples are marked 'JFS'.
