Hi Rudi,

I agree with Erich -- a fine piece indeed. This badge was originally held by Norbert Breu, who joined the NSDAP on September 10, 1925 and who resided in Kreis Roding in Gau Bayerische Ostmark. The name of that region was changed to Gau Bayreuth -- the ongoing headquarters city -- in 1942.
