So "heard from" means both the two replies by Andy and Peter J above here? Without any factual evidence at all? And now all these dozens of Swedisch NSAP (related) badges should be considered by the collectors community as 100% original??
I never claim to know it all but this scares me a lot. Can we before making statements like this at aleast please see some factual and preferable PERIOD evidence as to why these ridiculously crudely made, NON die struck, reverse cast looking badges, should be treated for one second as originals? As a tinnie collector i have never encountered a cast looking tinnie like these before. In fact, the only cast badge i can think of is the (SS) Croation ES (einsatsstaffel) badge, and of those we know the background and how they were made and thus look why they look the way they look. These also look much more convincing if one takes in consideration how badges are made. These NSAP badge really don't for me. For the past days i've been trying to find more information about the NSAP badges in this topic and all i can find is a few collectors that everywhere repeat eachothers opinions but without any evidence at all. The same information appears to be also the ONLY information available on the net and ... !
What also surprises me alot is that no one has mentioned the House of Swords fakes of these badges from the 1980's? Surprisingly they look the same as the badges in this topic. Am i the only one who sees red flags and hears alarm bells?
Before someone again sarcastically starts speaking of "people with lesser knowledge", please do show some evidence. If im wrong im the first to admit that im wrong, but so far these badges fall for me in the same category as the coloured NSKK badges, the fake RAD enameled badges, or dozens of other badges here on the forum that have for years been "authenticated" the same way as is now done with these NSAP badges.

Jabnus, I responded to this thead, but heck I'm no expert.
I've had a bunch of those NSAD badges over the years though and they shared the same features as seen on Chris's badges i.g. the odd looking reverse, the pin soldered directly on the badge and lastly but most important, the maker mark of C.C.Sporrong. The fakes I first encountered 1988 in Florida had a similar reverse, but no maker mark and a pin attached on a small plate.
Like I said, unless this is a new generation of fakes unknown to me, I see no problems with Chris's badges.
