    Hi guys!

Can't comment on the Swedish-badges, but I agree with Ron: the "Ruhpolding"-badge is a nice and good one.

    Kind regards, Peter

Chris, because of serveral characteristics that are usually not good in tinnies:

      - The (new) reverse pins on all three are the same, with the same curling half way.
      - The overal condition is too new (not the biggest concern but in combination with the others and knowing there are mostly fakes of this badge doing rounds highly suspicious).
      - The reverses: Particularly these concern me a lot. Tinnies like this are usually die struck and hollow, not massive with a NON smooth reverse surface like these. If they were actually massive tinnies i would have expected to see also a high quality smooth reverse surface that would do them justice, not the "blobby" reverse these have and that many fake badges also have. Either way, this is not something i would like to spent money on. There do appear to be maker marks on both, but that says nothing.

Unfortunately i don't have better pictures to show of originals myself as i never collected these. Maybe someone else can show a 100% original? Pete?

Just started a new thread, ie. the NSAP stick pins. Hope to get expert views on these pins.

            Hi guys,
The pins in this post are as previously stated fakes. But yours are all good chris
I agree with jabnus regarding the pins in rhe link. I actually just took them for real when first shown the photo, hence my statement in the link.. but if you look closely the nsap tinnies in the massive collection shows the darkened and oily finish that the fakes posess. The pin in post 1 has the wrong needle but the finish imo looks more convincing. Would like to have it in hand and have a look at it closer.

            Kind regards
            Alex

              pins

              Jack,
I had started another thread focusing on just the pins I posted. Heard from several people who know their NSAP pins and the verdict is they`re all good. I`d always been told the pins with the round base attachments were repros wheras the ones I posted are original. I was pretty sure about the 2, but not 100% on the 3rd. Thanks again to all who helped
