Thanks Mike, CurtD and all who participated in this thread. Mike, it looks like the reverse of your M1/66 party pin is identical to mine. Great to find this is indeed an original party pin after some intense analysis. This forum is great!!

While the enamel work on this badge looks real good. IMO the back lacks a lot from the picture posted both the RZM logo and the M1/66 are poorly done and the lack of a location ring around the attachment pin just sends the wrong signals to me.

James, I have just finished making a copy of Frobler's site. I will mail it out on Monday. I hope it can shed just a little more light. Please share it with Don and Hansa since they PMed me about it as well. Have a good one Robert
