    Misc. "tinnies" or donation pins

These are older shots, but what can you tell me about these....I ran onto a lot of them at the fleamarkets in Germany in the mid-70s when I was stationed there, so I picked them up when I found them cheap.

I have several more, both photographed and not.

A very nice mix of badges you have there. Student day, REK veterans, Two day Stenografenschaft event, and a not offen seen this fancy election day badge and a 1st anniversary of winning the election badge.

      James,

Thanks. What is #2. West Bau, and #4. the edelweiss with the hakenkreuz? These are the only ones I have seen like these?

        Westbau 1938

This Medal was given out for the cooperation between a private company and the German Military for work on the Germany's Western defenses (Westwall).
In your case it was given for the construction of the part in the "Homburg" (Saar) area. The company was "H. Butzer" which was the prime contractor ("Hauptunternehmer").

No. 4. The edelweiss with the swastika is, I believe, a WHW piece.

The design on the #2 tinnie says it all sewers drange lines.
