Looks very interesting. I would think that this was issued to commemorate a Germany-England football match in the 1930s. Somewhat similar to the Germany-Switzerland enamel badge that I showed here http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...d.php?t=701578 . Cheers, Torsten.

There appear to be some nice English hallmarks at the bottom of the reverse, though there's no indication of silver content that I can see. And could that be a soccer ball above the flags on the obverse? An interesting piece!
