Its a piece of jewelry, the swastika was a good luck sign well before Adolf, and the combination with a four leaf clover, says it all.

Okay, so as an early American 1900's stickpin would the swastika have been a way to show support for the German party or just a coincidence being used as a good luck charm or jewelry during the same time period??
I have seen one other of the exact same design but on a small clasp pin

It was used a lot all over the world as a good luck symbol prior to the 1940s, but I believe that national socialists only adopted in the early '20s. It was used in the same manner as horseshoes, four leaf clovers and other like symbols.

I have a safety pin type of the same pin,and heard years ago , it was a german pin, and not irish or good luck, but now can't recall where I found the information out about it. The helix'd pin is a good sign. I also have seen disagreances as to the origin of this exact swastika clovered pin, so not sure if we will ever know for sure.(I kept the one I found, just in case)
