"Plastic" Tinnies ID please

Hello,
I was hoping for an ID on a couple of "Plastic" tinnies that my late uncle brought back from Germany after WW2.
German items are not my field, but as my uncle gave me these, I've hung onto them.
One has a safety pin type fastener, and the other badges pin is missing

I believe their NSDAP ??
..And would be most grateful if somebody could give me the low down on them.

Hi Gary,

I'm quite fond of these early plastic badges.

This one is for an SA military sports event in for the Lower Rhein SA Gruppe in 1939.

The back is RZM marked M9/25. The M9 is for day badges or "tinnies". The "M" is for metal, although plastic day badges seem to come under the same heading. The 25 is the maker's RZM license number, in this case Richard Sieper & Sons of Ludenscheid.

Hi Gary,

This particular badge is not too difficult to find. This must have been a relatively large event. I should have mentioned too that the purpose of the event was to allow SA men the chance to qualify for the Wehrsportabzeichen badge shown on the front of your pin.

For some reason the plastic badges aren't valued very highly.
