RAD enameled badge?

Hi,

This badge certainly appears to be enamelled, but not RAD.
A distinct dark (black?) horizontal band appears to be across the centre of the badge, but RAD insignia do not have this device.
It appears to be the same size as an RAD membership badge, or an "Arbeitsdank" members badge; but is in my opinion neither of these.
Someone on the forum must be able to identify this insignia?
Possibly an RAD members badge varient?

I collect Kyffhäuserbund items, this is nothing like any pin i know of?

I'd go with RAD too, maybe some kind of reflection makes it look like the centrepart looks smaller.
