I assume that this tinnie was issued to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the NSDAP Gau Hessen in 1935 ... would that be correct? Cheers, Torsten.

There is difference betweeen "Hessen" and "Essen"

Gerdan, you are absolutely right ... it is ESSEN and not Hessen ... was not thinking straight when I was typing it. I also have this WHW tinnie from Gau ESSEN with the same logo ... Cheers, Torsten.
