Golden Party Badge, opinions please

Opinions good or bad please, on this Golden Party Badge . I have a bad feeling about it and checking the G.P.B. site I think it looks like one of the fakes shown there, but of course I could be wrong.

Stephen (SJL) will be able to help you better with these. However, I don't recall seeing one with the Munich stamped into it this way. I think it's usually on the keeper.

It's a fake. Both the front and back have qualities that one should avoid.

Hi Les,

As Don mentioned, I put together the Gold Party Badge website. I'm glad it tipped you to this one.

Everyone's right - it is a fake. The oakleaves are too "veiny" and don't go to the edge, and the "O" is oval and not round. The back has a poorly finished edge and the maker's mark isn't right. The font and hand stamping of the number are also not right.

You are right to pass.
