Hi Ron,

Yet another rare piece from your vast collection! It appears to be an event badge from Düsseldorf -- "Schlageterstadt," the "city of Albert Leo Schlageter," the place of his burial and the home of the Nazi cult that proclaimed him as their hero. Evidently a "Great National Exhibition" hosted by a local worker's organization there, in 1937. Indeed an unusual piece, one I've not seen before among the Schlageter genre.

This is more in the line of handicraft (Schaffendes Volk) as it is the grand State exhibition of creative folk of 1937 that was held in Düsseldorf -Schlageterstadt. IMO

I agree with James. Also, this tinnie is fairly common. I`ve seen quite a few over the years and I`ve several in my collection, but nice none the less.
