Hi,

Both appear to be 1930's German Communist pins, which are quite rare due to the persecution and ban by the Nazis.
Would love to see a German Communist Party members card from the period, but I would imagine they would be as rare as hen's teeth!

Hi John, I got a bunch of paper, documents, Budapest paper money etc. with these items but not being able to read German I don't know what I have. Maybe I should post some in that forum. Thank you Dail

The one with the flag that shows the fist is from the Roter Frontkaempferbund for which you will find some interesting information here:

The other is a Communist pin which says "Civil war against Imperial War". Very nice pins.

In the late 20's and early 30's, these communist tinnies were referred to as, "Hoffe und Andern" pins.
