Thanks Pete - yes that's amber. Unfortunately another Tannenberg tinnie with amber got damaged in transit. 2 pieces broke off and I'm trying to decide whether to just leave it or try and glue it.

There are some really nice ones there Curt. Regarding the broken amber tinnie, I would be tempted to glue it. One thing I've discovered over the years, if you have things in more than one piece, the pieces can get separated over time and then you have nothing.
