    HJ pin for review

Hey guys i was wondering if this HJ pin is authentic? Also could you tell me if its a rare maker? I couldn't get a picture of the back because it is attached to the scabbard of a bayonet. It says RZM M 1/120

Should I try to remove the pin?

From your words I think it´s a cap badge. So maybe there are two prongs in the reverse, and not the usual pin.

I removed the pin from the scabbard. Here is the picture. Does this help at all?

          Thanks

These pins were used mainly for dagers, but for caps too. Regards

Examples with these wide fold tabs were meant for the Hither Youth knife grip, but there is a another version with "fold pins" (normal width) that were intended for HJ Visor hats (and sometimes found other headgear- even M44 Flakhelfer sometimes...(usually bevo). Both are "hard to find" compared to regular HJ pins... especially if you "need one".
