Airport Reichenhall 1934 "Berchtesgaden"

Badge is for the guests of honor at the opening of the airport Reichenhall - Berchtesgaden 1934.....

My gut feeling is that this is a fake but I've never seen one before so I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated.

Looks like a fine original. It should be stamped with silver content and a makers mark on the verso (Deschler). Vertical military style pin on the ones I examined.

don't have one

Not at the present. It's been said that some of those pins were found as a part of "Deschler Hoard" hence the mint state of preservation on most (if not all) that I have handled. While I have never seen one accompanied by the Deschler letter stating such I have no reason to doubt the story.
